groundbreaking, out-of-the-box solution that revolutionizes how users
connect to a Fibre Channel SAN. Portable and desktop systems previously
unable to connect to a high-speed Fibre Channel SAN can now do so using
Thunderbolt™ 2 technology.
SANLink2 provides dual 8Gbps Fibre Channel ports that can be used to
connect directly to an external Fibre Channel storage device or to a storage
area network (SAN) using a high-speed Thunderbolt 2 I/O port. Each bridge
features full-duplex capable FC ports that automatically detect connection
speeds and can each independently operate at 1, 2, 4, or 8Gbps.
