Overall, CES ushered in over ten new device announcements, including these highlights…

This builds on the existing family of Thunderbolt 3 solutions, including many products which have recently been announced…

Wrapping up on CES, six products received awards featuring Thunderbolt™ 3 and we had plenty of positive press raising Thunderbolt™ 3 awareness, sampled here…

  • The Daily Dot Provided a good overview of USB3.1 and Thunderbolt 3 “Thunderbolt 3 isreally fast, transmitting at a whopping max transfer rate of 40Gbps. That makes it four times faster than USB 3.1, eight times faster than USB 3.0”
  • While Paste Magazine had this to say: “USB Type-C was so 2016. 2017 will be the era of Thunderbolt 3”
  • Blogger Jeffrey Powers from Geekzine.com interviewed several Thunderbolt 3 Developers at CES.  Have a read to see what the community has to say about Thunderbolt 3
Congratulations to the entire Thunderbolt™ community on your outstanding contributions, we are off to an excellent start in 2017.
